FinnComfort® is a strong, historic brand and sets itself ambitious goals in terms of quality awareness and environmental protection. This includes the careful use of resources as well as the reduction of transports and the use of the latest technologies to increase energy efficiency.
In our corporate principles, we have committed to further expanding our commitment to sustainability. As a German manufacturer, we want to responsibly drive new solutions for sustainable progress and conscientiously develop our company further, avoid long transport routes and secure domestic jobs. This includes all of our activities - along the entire value chain. We intend more with fewer resources to reach.
The challenge is, on the one hand, to satisfy the growing needs of customers and, on the other hand, to constantly and permanently improve the handling of limited natural resources. Important focal points are the close involvement of our employees and intensive cooperation with our partners. Strong quality awareness and high requirements are always in focus.
For the good of people and nature
FinnComfort® consciously pays attention to the use of natural materials not only in the production of footbeds and shoes. The breathable and skin-friendly upper leathers are guaranteed to be free from harmful preservatives (PCP) and AZO dyes as well as allergy-causing nickel compounds. FinnComfort® only uses high-quality upper leathers from ecologically and quality-conscious mainly German and European tanners.
Renewable raw materials such as cork, jute and natural latex are the main components of the bedding, which with vegetable-tanned leathers ensure excellent breathability and an optimal foot climate. As far as possible, chemical additives are not processed. Shafts and soles are mainly bonded with water-soluble adhesives. All soles are foamed CFC-free.
If the soles of your FinnComfort® shoes have expired, we offer you a special customer service - a new soling. If you would like to take advantage of this service, which is no longer an everyday occurrence, please contact your orthopedic or shoe retailer.
Environmental protection and sustainability also mean recycling, reuse, avoiding waste and the ecological use of energy. So z. B. operated the heating with district heating from a neighboring bio-power plant.
